 ourse Overview \nAdvanced STOPS Instructors Tactical Live Fire (1 Day)Pote
 ntial students attending this training must be certified as Strategies &am
 p\; Tactics of Patrol Stops Instructors. This advanced-level class will be
  physically and mentally challenging\, requiring STOPS Instructors to over
 come multiple obstacles to succeed.\n&nbsp\;\nWhat will the student learn?
 \n\nAnalyze traffic stop approach patterns\, focusing on how to use angles
  to counter potential assaults.\nBe aware of the environment and bystander
 s\, including considerations of terrain and escape routes\, while controll
 ing the space around you.\nLearn strategies for escaping from ambush posit
 ions.\nUnderstand how to differentiate between a low-risk and an unknown-r
 isk traffic stop.\nKnow the proper placement of violators and backup units
  during stops\nFamiliarize yourself with case law relevant to police use o
 f force in vehicle stops.\n\nWhat will the STOPS Instructor be required to
  do?\n\nApply the tactics learned during STOPS certification to make effec
 tive shoot or don’t shoot decisions while managing fatigue and navigating 
 a high-pressure training environment.\nEvaluate and adjust strategies for 
 both Low-Risk and Unknown-Risk traffic stops.\nDevelop the ability to conf
 ront single and multiple opponents in realistic scenarios using force-on-f
 orce training weapons.\nMaintain control during traffic stops while managi
 ng distractions from bystanders who may attempt to record or interfere wit
 h the situation.\nConsider multiple threats simultaneously and make split-
 second decisions that adhere to the Graham Standard of objectively reasona
 ble force. This training method enhances the dynamic nature of real-world\
 , high-stress situations.\nExamine personal mindsets to identify areas of 
 hesitation\, both physically and psychologically\, during high-stress scen
 arios.\nSuccessfully address threats\, gain compliance or control\, and ma
 intain situational awareness and mental clarity throughout practical exams
 \nThis course is designed as a hands-on outdoor activity to keep students 
 engaged and interested in learning concepts that will enhance their abilit
 y to identify criminal activity quickly and prepare for possible lethal fo
 rce encounters.\nOfficers are required to bring 100 rounds of target ammun

 ngThis course will push students to engage both physically and mentally in
  challenging scenarios that may feel intense or overwhelming. They will le
 arn techniques and develop mental mindsets to enhance their understanding 
 of tactical responses to life-threatening situations.\nCore BuildingThe st
 udents will be given proven techniques to counter assaults that will menta
 lly and physically prepare them for victory in battle if implemented as in

 d tactics to counter vehicle approach ambushes and planned assaults on off
 icers.\nIdentified core techniques to identify\, improve\, and master thei

 ment\nAttending students will need to be enrolled individually and online.

 -verified email\, or authorization from their agency’s training coordinato
 r. &nbsp\;All students must be on duty and not forced to attend the traini
 ng course. &nbsp\;Students will be required to complete several liability 
 waivers.\nStudents are required to bring the following equipment with them
  to class.\n\n100 rounds of training ammo for their duty-issued handgun. &
 nbsp\;\nDepartment-issued or approved bulletproof vest that is valid.\nOSH
 A approved Eye and ear protection.\nDuty positioning of their weapon\, eit
 her full belt or side holster\, must be what they wear daily. &nbsp\;This 
 training is designed to prepare them for how they may encounter assailants
  daily\, so weapon placement during their tour of duty is required. &nbsp\
 ;&nbsp\; &nbsp\;\n\n**No live weapons\, chemical agents\, or intermediate 
 weapons are allowed in the training area before inspection and cleared by
