Ron Hantz
Ron has been a law enforcement officer since 1993. Ron has attended over 5000 hours of advanced police training in numerous officer survival topics. Ron is certified field training officer, was a patrol sergeant for five years, and was the Field Training Unit Manager for the Mishawaka Police Department. Ron was also the Training Officer for the Waterloo Police Department (1995-1997), and the Dekalb County Sheriffs Department from 1993-1995.
Robert H. Black
ROBERT H. BLACK has been a career law enforcement officer for over 41 years. Retired from the Valparaiso Police Department as Assistant Chief after twenty (20) years of service, he worked for sixteen (16) years as a patrol officer, eighteen (18) years as a training officer, trained and commanded the tactical unit, and developed many departmental programs during his career.
Sgt. Randy Duhamell

Randy serves as Detective Sergeant and oversees investigations. Randy has more than 30 years martial arts experience including National Honors for Competition and Training. He was the former Indiana Assistant Director of Kickboxing for the PKC for ten years, covering the northern Indiana district.
Nick Pollaro
Nick Pollaro – Physical Tactics Instructor with the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy
Nick served for twenty (20) years with the Valparaiso Police Department and retired as the Captain of Patrol prior to going into the private sector. He joined the staff at the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy in March of 2009. He served his entire tenure at Valparaiso Police Department in the patrol division.
Jeff Rynearson
Jeff Rynearson was appointed as a South Bend (IN) Police Officer in January of 1991. Having spent fourteen years as an active handler, he handled three dogs during that time.
